Characteristics – features
A broad-spectrum fungicide with systemic, preventative, and curative action that combats downy mildew, powdery mildew, late and early blight, rusts, and fruit rots on many field and fruit crops.
It contains a group of components that directly affect plant physiological functions, improving vegetative growth and thus significantly increasing yield and quality.
It has a translocated effect, spreading rapidly throughout the plant after spraying, as it is quickly absorbed through the leaves.
It works by breaking down and killing the fungus through the penetration of toxic chemicals into the fungal cell.
It helps the plant improve its defense mechanisms by producing substances that fight pathogens. It helps the plant withstand stress, cold, heat, and drought.
Method of Action: Kafrogost 18.7% WG fungicide contains two active ingredients:
First: Dimethomorph, which stimulates the synthesis of the fungal cell wall, leading to its failure or breakdown and ultimately fungal death. This is due to the ingress of toxic chemicals into the fungal cell and the loss of essential nutrients needed for fungal growth.
Second: Pyraclostrobin, which inhibits the mitochondria of the fungal cell's respiratory enzymes. This inhibition results in fungal death due to the lack of energy supply.
