Characteristics – features

"It is a preventative and curative compound for root rot and gummosis diseases on fruit trees, as it has the ability to translocate to all parts of the treated plants through the plant sap.

1. It has a long-lasting effect and high efficacy.

2. It increases the natural immunity of both healthy and infected trees, thus enhancing their resistance to fungal diseases and adverse environmental conditions, as it is present in all tissues of the treated plants. This characteristic enables it to eliminate the fungi that cause root rot and gummosis diseases on fruit trees.

3. It has no harmful effects on beneficial organisms or the environment.

4. It is used on fruit trees (peaches and apricots) to control Phytophthora disease by spraying the foliage at a rate of 150 g/100 liters of water. It can also be used on crops (tomatoes, onions, and cucurbits)."

Recommendations and usage rates

 "Painting:

• The infected bark is scraped off using a sharp knife and cleaned until the uninfected (healthy) tissue is exposed. One kilogram of Teco compound is added to two liters of water and dissolved thoroughly. The exposed parts or areas of the trees are then coated with this concentrated solution.

• This treatment is carried out twice a year when the trees are at their peak activity and absorb the pesticide:

1. First treatment: During March.

2. Second treatment: During September.
General spraying of the foliage:

• Spray twice a year using Teco compound at a rate of 250 g/100 liters of water.

1. First treatment: During March.

2. Second treatment: During September.
Use in the nursery:

1. Soak seedlings before planting in a Teco compound solution at a rate of 5 g per 1 liter of water.

2. Treat the soil in the nursery with a Teco compound solution at a rate of 10 g per 5 liters of water."
