The pesticide works by inhibiting the action of acetylcholinesterase receptors, which compete with cholinesterase and stimulants for binding and activating the receptors.
Pesticides from this chemical group bind to acetylcholinesterase receptors in the synaptic cleft, causing a toxic and hyperstimulatory effect on the neuron's axon, resulting in sudden paralysis.
