The fungicide captan was discovered over 30 years ago and has been highly successful in many countries around the world. No resistance has developed against it in fungi, and it combats many fungal diseases affecting both the aerial and root parts of various crops.
Captain fungicide is characterized by its preventive action through contact, so it must be sprayed before the appearance and spread of the infection. In addition, it has preventive and therapeutic efficacy against some fungi. Therefore, it is recommended to use Captain in rotation with another group of active substances to avoid the development of resistance in fungi and loss of efficacy.
