Mode of Action:
A non-systemic insecticide that works by contact and ingestion. It also acts as a feeding inhibitor and has a precise effect on treated plants, impacting the central nervous system by preventing nerve impulse transmission. This occurs by blocking the passage of sodium ions through sodium channels in nerve membranes, thus preventing nerve impulses along the axons. This toxicity typically leads to rapid and severe damage, resulting in mass die-off.
