Characteristics – features
This is a pesticide with preventative, curative, and systemic effects, used to control numerous plant diseases affecting horticultural and field crops such as cucurbits, strawberries, potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, apples, apricots, peaches, grapes, wheat, rice, and sugar beets. Among the most important diseases it controls are powdery mildew, scab, leaf spots, and fruit and root rots.
It is applied as a foliar spray, seed or seedling treatment, or soil injection to eliminate many plant diseases and ensure high yields of both quantity and quality. It is absorbed through the leaves or roots, translocates throughout the plant's cellular and tissue systems, reaches the site of the pathogen, kills it, and prevents the appearance of new disease symptoms. It combats powdery mildew, scab, leaf spots, fruit rots, root rots, and damping-off in many horticultural and field crops. Its preventative and curative effects ensure comprehensive protection both inside and outside the plant. Systemic, providing rapid and immediate protection to treated plant tissues for extended periods, and unaffected by rainfall due to its systemic action.
This pesticide decomposes within approximately 7 days in sandy, silty, and clay soils at temperatures between 23-33°C, and has a long persistence at lower temperatures in agricultural soils, potentially lasting up to 60 days at 23°C.
It decomposes more rapidly in unsterilized soils than in sterilized soils, as soil bacteria utilize it as a nitrogen source.
It has no effect on microorganisms in agricultural soils, is safe for biological populations, and is compatible with integrated pest management programs.
It is safe for use on agricultural crops when applied at the recommended concentrations.
