Agricultural gypsum

Key Characteristics & Agricultural Benefits

• It converts saline soil into agricultural soil – it stimulates plants to bloom and bear fruit. Increasing soil permeability and aeration quality, which leads to easier penetration of plant roots and enhanced water absorption capacity. It helps increase the microorganisms in the soil that fix nitrogen. Reducing soil alkalinity and salinity, which allows for the cultivation of crops that were difficult to grow in this soil before it was amended with agricultural gypsum. Increasing agricultural crop production by improving their growth and the quality of their yield. Keeps salinity away from the roots of the plants. The cheapest source of sulfur. Agricultural gypsum, the fine white type, is a natural product and is considered environmentally friendly. It is used in fish farming ponds to reduce excessive alkalinity (pH) and to address ammonia problems in the pond water. Why do we use agricultural gypsum: The presence of a saline crust on the soil surface, either white or dark. Low soil permeability, low aeration, and low cohesion. The pH level in the soil is above 7. Weakness of the plants and stunted growth. Dwarfing of the plants and their coloration in a dark green hue with a bluish tint. The appearance of drought symptoms on the plants and the burning and yellowing of the leaves.
