Kafrosaterin is a herbicide formulated to control weeds prevalent in rice. It leaves virtually no residues in the soil or crop, and there are no import restrictions on rice treated with it in any country worldwide. It is applied by spraying using knapsack sprayers, mixed with sand, or a perforated container. It should be applied 8-9 days after sowing or when the rice has reached the two-leaf stage. In manual and mechanical transplanting, the herbicide should be applied 2-4 days after transplanting. The water level in the rice field should be maintained for 3 days after treatment, and drainage should be avoided before this period. It will give you a bountiful harvest free from weeds and their seeds.

Application Rate of Kafrosaterin

For nurseries and directing rice, use at a rate of 2 liters/acre. The application time is 7-10 days after sowing the seeds, when the rice seedlings have reached the two-leaf stage, as follows:

Proper seed preparation
Soak the seeds for 24-48 hours in running water
Prepare the seeds for 36-48 hours, depending on the temperature, until germination occurs
Sow the seeds in clear water to a depth of 2-3 cm
Change the field water on the third day
Drain the field at the end of the fifth day and allow aeration on the sixth and seventh days. This encourages the establishment of seedling roots and the emergence of the second leaf. On the eighth or ninth day, irrigate the field so that the leaves are visible above the water surface, then add The pesticide can be applied using any method, and the field should be kept moist for 3 days. For manual transplanting, use Kefrosatirin at a rate of 2 liters/acre. The pesticide should be added 2-4 days after transplanting, incorporating it into the soil at a depth of 5-7 cm. Water should be maintained in the field for 3 days.

For mechanical transplanting, use Kefrosatirin at a rate of 3 liters/acre. The pesticide should be added on the third or fourth day after transplanting, ensuring the water level in the field is 3-5 cm. Water should be maintained in the field for 2-3 days.

For furrow planting, use Kefrosatirin as a spray in 100-120 liters of water/acre using a backpack sprayer on the third or fourth day after planting, ensuring the soil is well-moistened. A light irrigation can be done the day before spraying to increase field moisture, followed by another irrigation 3 days later.
